Emissions management
All our projects reduce CO2 emissions. The more than 30 years of useful life, the complex will avoid the emission of 640,000 tons of carbon dioxide, equal to the travel of 135,000 vehicles a year.
Water management

CONSUMPTION
The water consumed in 2020 came from three sources: industrial water (74%), potable water (24.4%) and bottled water (0.6%).
We consumed a total of 103,366 m3 of water in 2020 (the Environmental Approval (RCA) is for 281,000 m3 annually). -
TREATMENT
We have built water treatment plants to be able to reuse a percentage of what we consume and also return the used water in appropriate conditions.
Close to 20% of the water used in construction and in operation was treated.
Fuel Management
The consumption of diesel fuel will fall drastically after our plant begins operation because fewer vehicles, machinery and other industrial equipment will be needed.
Our diesel consumption in 2020 totaled 2,159 m3. This is 40% below the figure reported in 2019, when total consumption was 3,595 m3.
