Grupo Cerro synchronizes Piedras Negras run-of-the-river hydroelectric plant

A great milestone this year has been, undoubtedly, the connection of our Piedras Negras power plant to the National Electric System.

Specifically, on October 24, was carried out the synchronization of this 3 MW capacity plant, whose annual generation is 20.5 GW, and which is located in San Fernando, VI Region.

With this, Grupo Cerro already has 9 run-of-the-river hydroelectric plants in operation, located between the regions of O`Higgins and La Araucanía.
